摘要 TheChangjiangEstuaryisthedoorwayoftheShanghaiHarbourandthethroatforthesixprovincesintheChangjiangRiverdrainagearea.Howevertheminimumwaterdepthofthewaterwayintheestuaryisonlyaboutsixmeters,sothatthedevelopmentoftheShanghaiHarbourandtheutilizationofwatertransportationontheChangjiangRiverhavebeengreatlyrestrained.Since1975,thedepthofthesea-enteringwaterwayoftheChangjiangEstuaryhasbeensuccessfullyincreasedbyonemeter.Thisarticlehasmadeacomprehensivesumming-upabouttheselectionofwaterways,thedeterminationofthelinefordredginganddisposalofthedredgedmaterial,thusprovidingreferencedataforfutureworkinincreasingthedepthofthewaterwayoftheChangjiangEstuaryandforcontrollingsimilarwaterwaysofotherestuaries.
