摘要
Athree-dimensional(3D)globaladiabaticspectralprimitiveequationmodelhasbeendesigned.Themainfeaturesareasfollows.(1)AdoptionofsphericalharmonicsandTschebyscheffpolynomialsasthebasisfunctionsinthehorizontalandverticalrespectively,buttheunknownsinthespectralequationsaretwo-dimensional;(2)Inclusionofthetropopause,whichmayvarywithtimeandspace;(3)Suggestionofaspectralmethodforrepresentingtheverticalstructureoftheatmosphereapplicabletotheunsmoothedprofilecase;(4)Inconsiderationofnonlinearverticalaliasingatechniqueisproposedtoavoiditandnonlinearcomputationalinstability.Basedonrealdataforecastsupto48hourshavebeenperformed.TheresultsshowthatthestatisticalverificationswiththemodelaresuperiorontheaveragetothosewiththeT42L9usedoperationallybefore1995atNMCofChinaatthesamemeanresolution.
