摘要 Inthispaper,anenergyefficientbandwidthallocationschemeisproposedforwirelesscommunicationsystems.Anoptimalbandwidthexpansion(OBE)schemeisproposedtoassigntheavailablesystembandwidthforusers.Whenthesystembandwidthdoesnotreachthefullload,theremainingbandwidthcanbeenergy-efficientlyassignedtotheotherusers.SimulationresultsshowthattheenergyefficiencyoftheproposedOBEschemeoutperformsthetraditionalsamebandwidthexpansion(SBE)scheme.Thus,theproposedOBEcaneffectivelyassignthesystembandwidthandimproveenergyefficiency.
