摘要
Extendingthelengthoffemtosecondlaserfilamentationhasalwaysbeendesiredforpracticalapplications.Here,wedemonstratethatsignificantextendingofasinglefilamentinBK7glasscanbeachievedbyconstructingphasenestedbeams.Thefilamentationandthefollowingenergyreplenishmentareassembledinasinglephase-nestedbeam.Thecentralpartofthephase-nestedbeamisanaperturedGaussianbeam,whichisfocusedintoonefocalspottoproduceashortfilament.Incontrast,therestoftheannularpartconvergesgraduallytowardsthecentralaxistocontinuouslyreplenishtheenergyforsupportingtheregenerationoffilaments.Thecommon-pathgeneratingsystemensuresthestabilityofgeneratedfilamentsandeasilyoptimizesthebeamparameterstoobtainthelongesthigh-qualityfilamentduetoitsflexibility.Inaddition,wediscussthesignificanceofcontinuousreplenishmentforextendingfilamentsandthepotentialforgeneratingmoreextendedfilamentsbasedonthismethod.
