摘要
Asaconservativetracer,oxygenisotopesinseawaterarewidelyusedforwatermassanalysis,alongwithtemperatureandsalinity.Inthisstudy,seawateroxygen-18datasetsintheCanadaBasinduring1967–2010wereobtainedfromthefourcruisesoftheChineseNationalArcticResearchExpedition(1999,2003,2008,and2010)andtheNASAdatabase.Fractionsofseaicemeltwaterandriverrunoffweredeterminedfromthesalinity-18Osystem.OurresultsshowedthattheriverrunoffdecreasedfromthesouthtothenorthintheCanadaBasin.TheenhancedamountofriverrunoffobservedinthesouthernCanadaBasinmayoriginatefromtheMackenzieRiver,transportedbytheBeaufortGyre.Theriverrunoffcomponentshowedmaximumfractionsduring1967–1969,1978–1979,1984–1985,1993–1994,and2008–2010,indicatingtherefreshtimeoftheriverrunoffwas5.0–16.0aintheCanadaBasin.ThetemporalvariationoftheriverrunoffwasrelatedtothechangeoftheArcticOscillation(AO)index,suggestingthefreshwaterstoredintheCanadaBasinwasaffectedbysurfaceseaicedriftandwatermassmovementdrivenbyatmosphericcirculation.
