摘要 Theattempttorepresentasignalsimultaneouslyintimeandfrequencydomainsisfullofchallenges.TherecentlyproposedadaptiveFourierdecomposition(AFD)offersapracticalapproachtosolvethisproblem.ThispaperpresentstheprinciplesoftheAFDbasedtime-frequencyanalysisinthreeaspects:instantaneousfrequencyanalysis,frequencyspectrumanalysis,andthespectrogramanalysis.AnexperimentisconductedandcomparedwiththeFouriertransforminconvergencerateandshort-timeFouriertransformintime-frequencydistribution.TheproposedapproachperformsbetterthanboththeFouriertransformandshort-timeFouriertransform.
