Basedonthestochasticmarketdemand,thispaperconsiderstheorderdecision-makingstrategiesofthesupplychainbyintroducingstatementstrategies.Consequently,thetime-variantvarianceinthedemandsofthemarketisincorporatedintothemodel.Theretailersimultaneouslydeterminesthepurchasetime(i.e.,leadtime)andorderquantity,andthemanufacturerdeterminesthestatementstrategyandthereservedprofitrate.Theresultsshowthatthenoovertimestatementstrategycaninducetheretailertoplacemoreordersinadvancebylimitingtheavailableorderquantitywithintheavailabletime.Finally,wealsoadoptnumericalexamplestosupporttheconclusionofthispaper.
