摘要
Neutrondiagnostics,includingfluxandenergyspectrummeasurements,havebeenappliedontheexperimentaladvancedsuperconductingtokamak(EAST).TheabsolutecalibrationofneutronyieldshasbeenachievedbyacalculationmethodusingtheMonteCarloautomaticmodeling(MCAM)systemandtheMonteCarloN-Particles(MCNP)code.Sincetheneutronyieldiscloselyrelatedwiththeiondensityandtemperature,itisagoodmeasureofplasmaperformance,especiallythewaveheatingeffect.Inioncyclotronrangeoffrequencies(ICRF)experiments,theincreaseintheiontemperaturederivedbytheneutronyieldindicatesaneffectiveplasmaheating.Minorityprotonsdampalargefractionofthetotalwavepower,andthentransferpartoftheenergytodeuteriumbycollisions.NeutronspectrummeasurementsalsoindicatethatnotailiscreatedbyhighenergydeuteronsduringICRFheating.However,theiontemperaturederivedbytheneutronyieldisconsistentwiththeresultbyusingapoloidalX-rayimagingcrystalspectrometer(PXCS),showingareliabletransportcalculation.
