EFFECT OF A PROPELLER AND GAS DIFFUSION ON BUBBLE NUCLEI DISTRIBUTION IN A LIQUID

    摘要 Amulti-bubbledynamicscodeaccountingforgasdiffusionintheliquidandthroughthebubblewallwasdevelopedandusedtostudythemodificationofabubblenucleipopulationdynamicsbyapropeller.ThepropellerflowfieldwasobtainedusingaReynolds-AveragedNavier-Stokes(RANS)solverandbubblenucleipopulationswerepropagatedinthisfield.Thenumericalpro-cedureenabledestablishmentofthepossibilityofproductionbehindthepropellerofrelativelylargevisiblebubblesstartingfromtypicaloceannucleisizedistributions.Theresultinglargerbubblesareseentoclusterinthebladewakesandtipvortices.Parametricinvestigationsoftheinitialnucleisizedistribution,thedissolvedgasconcentration,andthecavitationnumberwereconductedtoide-ntifytheireffectsonbubbleentrainmentandtheresultantvoidfractionsandbubbledistributionmodificationsdownstreamfromthepropeller.Imposedsyntheticturbulence-likefluctuationsuntotheaverageRANSflowfieldwerealsousedtostudytheeffectavera-gingintheRANSprocedurehasontheresults.
