A brief investigation on transversal temperature distribution during hot rolling

    摘要 Temperatureevolutionofaworkingpieceduringhotrollinghasasignificantinfluenceonthemicrostructureandfinalmechanicalpropertiesofthematerial.Asthemeasurementtechnologiesimprove,on-linemeasurementofthetemperatureacrossthestripwidthhasbecomeaccessible,andthusmonitoringandcontrolofthetransversaltemperaturedistributionduringhotrollingcanberealized.Thescanningofthetemperatureacrossthestripwidthcanhelpustounderstandthestateofthetemperaturevariationatthestripedgesandasaresulthelpusimprovethetemperaturehomogeneityofthestrip.Inthispaper,reaearchontemperaturedistributionalongthestripwidthisreviewedfirst,andthenthemechanismofthescanningmeasuringdevicesisintroduced.Withthetemperaturescanningmeasurementdatatakenfromthefinishingmillentrypointandthedowncoilerentrypoint,thetemperaturedistributionatthestripedgesisanalyzed.Itispointedoutthattheroughingprocessisthemaincontributortothetemperatureinhomogeneity.Furthermore,thecontributionoftheedgerheatertothetemperaturehomogeneityisinvestigated.
