Spatial correlation analysis of sea-bottom backscattering

    摘要 Theprincipleofthespatialcorrelationcharacteristicsofsea-bottombackscatteringwasexpounded.TheKirchhoffmodelisintroducedtosimulatesea-bottombackscatteringandthespatialcorrelationiscalculated.Somesedimentcharacteristicparameters,suchastheratioofsedimentmassdensitytowatermassdensity,theratioofsedimentsoundspeedtowatersoundspeed,theattenuationcoefficientofsoundwaves,thestrengthandexponentofseabottominterfaceroughnessspectrum,areconsideredwhilesimulatingandtheirinfluencesonspatialcorrelationareanalyzed.Byestablishingtheexpressionsofthesedimentcharacteristicparameterswiththelogarithmicsedimentgrainsize,thevariationtendencyofthespatialcorrelationversusthelogarithmicsedimentgrainsizeisobtained.Thewidthofthemajorlobeofthespatialcorrelationfunctionnarrowsasthelogarithmicsedimentgrainsizeincreases.Thecomparisonsbetweensimulateddataandin-situdatacollectedinOctober2007haveproventhattheirspatialcorrelationfunctionwaveformsagreewellunderthesamesedimentcharacteristics.
