摘要
ThepurposeofthispaperistostudythestabilityandapproximationpropertiesofRitz-Volterraprojection.ThroughconstructinganewtypeofGreenfunctionsandmakinguseofvariouspropertiesandestimatesrelatedwiththefunctions,weprovethattheRitz-Volterraprojectiondefinedonthefinite-dimensionalsubspaceS_hofH_o~1possessestheW_p~1-stabilityandtheoptimalapproximationpropertiesinW_p~1andL_pfor2≤p≤∞.Ourresults,inthispaper,canbeappliedtothefiniteelementapproximationsformanyevolutionequationssuchasparabolicandhyperbolicintegrodifferentialequations,Sobolevequationsandvisco-elasticity,etc.
