摘要 Combinedmulti-bodydynamicswithstructuraldynamics,anewdiscreteelementwithflexibleconnector,whichisapplicablefor3-Dbeamstructures,isdevelopedinthispaper.Boththegeneralizedelasticcoefficientmatrixoftheflexibleconnectorandthemassmatrixofdiscreteelementmaybeoff-diag-onalinageneralcase.Thezero-lengthrigidelementisintroducedtosimulatethenodeatwhichmultipleel-ementsarejointedtogether.Itmayalsobeeffectivewhentheaxesofadjacentelementsarenotinthesameline.Theexamplesforeigenvaluecalculationshowthatthemodelissuccessful.Itcanbeextendedtothegeometricnonlinearresponseanalysis.
