摘要
InnestednonhydrostaticmesoscalemodelMM5,thecharacteristicquantitiesofatmosphericturbulence,i.e.,thestandarddeviationsoftheturbulentfluctuatedspeedsforthreedirectionsinPBLarecomputedbyMellor-Yamada’slevel2.5closurescheme.Themagnitudesandtheverticalprofilesofthesequantitiescomputedfromthemodelarecloselyconnectedwithtemperatureandwindspeedprofilesaswellasthetypeofthegroundwithasignificantdiurnalvariation,andareinagreementwithknownmagnitudesandregularitiesindifferentstratificationconditions.Hencethemethodinthispaperisreasonableandconvincible.Theirhorizontaldistributiondependsonthehorizontaldistributionofthestratification.Themethodofpredictedcharacteristicquantitiesofturbulencefrommesoscalemodelinthispapercanbeusedintheproblemofatmosphericdiffusionandatmosphericenvironment.
